Windshield Repairs

Windshield damage should be repaired right away. 

If left alone, the damaged area could expand.  

A windshield is repairable if it meets the following:

• The total area of damage is smaller than the size of a quarter.

• The damaged spot is not in the driver's direct line of sight.

• The damaged spot is not located within 1" of the edge of the windshield.

Our work is covered by a lifetime warranty to never crack out from the repaired spot. 

If you do not like the the repaired area we will apply the amount charged for the

repair towards a replacement windshield.

How a Windshield is Repaired

First the loose glass particles are removed from the damaged area.  Next a repair machine cup is placed over the damaged area.  The repair machine sucks out all  the air from the cracks.  Then a sealant is pushed into the cracks.  Finally, a protective piece of Mylar is put over the damaged area and then heated.  The sealant sets and the spot is repaired.
